Well,  I finally finished the dresser. Its my take on the famous Diego Rivera painting- Nude with Calla Lilies. As  always, It took me much longer to paint than expected.  mostly because I am soo hard on myself. Also,  the dresser drawers had 3 edges to them,  there was very little flat edge. But it’s done, It looks awesome and the new owner is very happy.

I wanted to take a picture of the whole room, but the owner is pretty private, and a man, so he just doesn’t get it. The dresser is between two beds in  the spare bedroom, there is a gorgeous hand painted talavera lamp, surrounded by weavings, pillows and bed covers all hand woven by the local woman of Guatemala.
